Dom zosta\u0142 zaprojektowany jako architektoniczny autoportret Magdy Ma\u0142ygi, oparty na jej osobistej to\u017csamo\u015bci i do\u015bwiadczeniu dorastania na kaszubskiej wsi. Wspomnienia z dzieci\u0144stwa staj\u0105 si\u0119 punktem wyj\u015bcia do poszukiwania wsp\u00f3\u0142czesnej formy architektury zakorzenionej w lokalnym kontek\u015bcie.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Projekt odnosi si\u0119 do stopniowego zanikania charakterystycznych form architektonicznych w\u0142a\u015bciwych poszczeg\u00f3lnym regionom, poszukuj\u0105c sposobu na po\u0142\u0105czenie lokalnej to\u017csamo\u015bci z aktualnymi potrzebami mieszkaniowymi. Jest wynikiem pog\u0142\u0119bionej analizy tradycyjnej architektury kaszubskiej, jej form, materia\u0142\u00f3w i sposobu organizacji przestrzeni, zestawionej z osobistymi wspomnieniami architektki.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Powsta\u0142y dom nie jest pr\u00f3b\u0105 odtworzenia tradycyjnej zabudowy, lecz jej wsp\u00f3\u0142czesn\u0105 interpretacj\u0105, miejscem, w kt\u00f3rym pami\u0119\u0107, lokalno\u015b\u0107 i wsp\u00f3\u0142czesny spos\u00f3b \u017cycia spotykaj\u0105 si\u0119 w jednej architektonicznej formie.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
